Category: Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps

Oil free Diaphragm vacuum pumps are using a crankshaft-driven connecting rod to move the diaphragm up and down. The space between the head cover and the diaphragm is varying in volume to be able to suck and compress the air in this pumping area. They transfer and remove substances without causing any impact on the material, ensuring that the material remains uncontaminated.

Diaphragm pumps require inlet and outlet valves to displace the gas. The space between the outlet valve and the suction chamber results in only a limited compression ratio to achieve an ultimate pressure of approximately 70 mbar. Connecting multiple pumping stages in series can reduce ultimate pressure to 0.5 mbar.

The pumps are engineered for oil-free operation, eliminating the risk of oil contamination in vacuum processes. This feature is especially critical in industries where product purity is paramount.

Standard Duty Diaphragm Pumps (MP): Laboratory tasks such as solvent filtration and sample preparation.

Chemistry Diaphragm Pumps (MPC): Applications in sensitive chemical processes.

Laboratory Vacuum Systems (LVS): They can achieve slightly deeper vacuum levels, often around 20 to 70 mbar. This supports more advanced laboratory applications like rotary evaporation and gel drying.

Diaphragm vacuum pumps play a crucial role in maintaining sterile fluid purity during medical procedures and contribute to the production of reliable medical equipment in medical device manufacturing, while also supporting laboratory excellence in analytical instrument processes, enhancing industrial efficiency in various applications such as chemical processes, bioprocessing, and precision manufacturing.
